I have a full-time job & a full-time life, so I don’t have the time to attend classes & endure a 4 year + long journey to recieve a degree. I understand that most Online programs take about half the time as actually attending class, but I want to know if the degrees obtained are just as credible.

First, I am fully aware that an online school should be fully accreditated for the online degree to be respected. However, will having a 3 Year Business Adminstration Diploma first, then transferring credits from that Diploma to an Online Degree make the degree more respectable. Will it be more respected if I were to have a Diploma from an actual college, to go with the one done online. In the end, after the transferred credits there would be a 3 year diploma from the college, and an 3 year online degree.
The online degree would most likely be a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Management, or a Bachelor of Human Resources
Going the online route, it would only take about a year to do. So in total, I would do 3 years of college, and 1 Year online and walk away with 6 years of education in 4 years. I’d also have a degree to add to my resume

I’ve been wanting to go back to school and finish my degree, but with a full time job and a family it’s hard.
Is it worth looking into an online degree? I’d like to get a bachelors degree in business in order to be eligible for a management position at my company (or similar company). I had taken almost 2 years at a brick and mortar college, however my credits have expired (it’s been 11 years) so I’ll need to start from scratch.
So is it a good idea to look into an online college or just wait for the right time to return to regular college? I’d rather not waste my time and money for a "worthless" education.
I would like to keep the door open for a masters degree as well.
I currently am an advertising executive with a mid-sized company in the northeast. My current position does normally require a degree, but with my 2 years college and 10 years experience I was given the job, but I don’t think I’d be given a promotion without the degree.

I am wanting to go back to school for a master’s degree (I have already obtained my B.A. in Psychology) and am wondering if anyone had thoughts on online degree programs. I’m not sure if I would be getting as good of an education or if it looks as good to employers. Any personal experiences, suggestions, or thoughts?
My B.A. was not earned from an online program (if that is not clear enough) so this online stuff is completely new
